Heidi Johnson @ EMERGE at the 24th Annual Boston International Fine Art Show

Artist Heidi Johnson is honored to have been selected to exhibit in the 24th Annual Boston International Fine Art Show and Sale from October 20-23. Heidi Johnson, Recent Works will be displayed in Booth 19 of the Emerge section that showcases 15 emerging and mid-career juried artists. Along with these individual artists, works from 40 fine arts galleries across the US and Europe will display a range of styles from Old Master to Contemporary in the 15,000-square-foot Cyclorama exhibition hall of the Boston Center for the Arts.

Johnson has exhibited in both solo and group shows at Jane Deering Gallery. The gallery welcomes you to this 24th international art fair.

Johnson holds a BFA from Tufts University and a Diploma from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston where she was awarded the Traveling Scholar prize in 1990 and lived and worked in Italy. She is the recipient of several prestigious awards including two Pollock Krasner Grants; the Elizabeth Foundation Artist Grant, the Bronx Council on the Arts BRIO Award in Painting. Fellowships include the Nordisk Kunstnarsenter Dale, Norway; The Bronx Museum Artist in the MarketPlace, New York; and the New York Foundation for the Arts. Residencies include Byrdcliffe Foundation for the Arts, New York; Robert MacNamara Foundation, Maine; Marie Walsh Sharpe Studio Program, New York; and ARTOMI International Residency Program, New York, among others.

After 25 years of living in the South Bronx and New York City, Johnson traded her artist loft for a Victorian home and the green pastures of Patterson, NY. Johnson exhibits in New England regionally at Jane Deering Gallery, Gloucester, MA where she had two solo shows; and very recently at: Wassaic Projects in Wassaic, NY; Albany International Airport Gallery; the Flinn Gallery in Greenwich, CT; Five Points Center for the Arts, Torrington, CT, New Jersey, and New York City galleries. Johnson also exhibits widely in the US and internationally: Sweden, Norway, Australia, and Canada. Her artworks are held in numerous private and public collections.
